The procedure for getting into the Teen Challenge program varies from center to center. Our Timothy House center houses teen boys only, while most of our other centers are for adult men or women. Please check our Center Pages and contact the center nearest you to find the one that meets your specific needs.

The first thing to do is call and setup an interview. The interview serves two purposes: it allows the induction personnel to explain both the program to the prospective individual and what is expected of a resident in the program.

The Southern California program consists of a one-year residential program for adults designed to help men and women learn how to live drug-free lives. During their one-year stay, they do not hold outside jobs, as all of their attention is focused on the program. We challenge the residents to embrace the Christian faith. We see that when they do, their lives are transformed by the power of Christ and they find true meaning and purpose.

To find more information on entering a Teen Challenge program outside of Southern California please use the Center Locator at the Teen Challenge USA website and contact the center nearest you to find one that meets your specific needs.

While Teen Challenge of Southern California offers its services at no charge to the adult student, certain Teen Challenge centers outside of Southern California have found it necessary to do so.
